Pictured is the left hand view of the M37. Notable characteristeristics of the firearm from other Browning .30 caliber machineguns are the coned and chrome lined booster, adjustable flip up site with adjustable blade, latched and ratcheting top cover with ambidextrous latches, one piece casted top plate, back plate with pistol grip that has a push button safety and paddle release, and remote charging handle.
From the back view the distinguishable differences are prominently obvious. The remote charging handle on the right, not only is used to charge the firearm into battery, but also can be used as bolt hold open to cool the bolt, or as a method to clear the feed way of debris and un-ejected rounds.
Topside view with top cover open. The photo descriptively details the internal operation of the firearm. Note the crossing channels on the topside of the bolt for ambidextrous feeding. In order to change the direction of ammunition feeding, the blocks within the channels need to be switched to opposing sides, the extractor's ejector needs to be switched and the top cover cam and feed pawl need several small components rotated as well as the bullet guides in the feed way. Although the conversion sounds complicated it is very simple. Always consult your manual when operating your firearm.
Close up photo of the feed way, bolt and top cover. Note: All trunions are chromed for increased durability.
Close up photo of the originally marked side plate, the depth and position of which is identically matched to that of the original firearm. All serial numbers are marked on the outside as well as the caliber and model designation. Note: The perfectly shaped rivets.
